Lexis IS300 headlight repair

Ok so we started off with my low beam light going out on my 2001 Lexus is300 and we decided to repair it ourselves. After several trial and error attempts to get to both the light and the bulb we got the light changed only to discover it was the ballace that was bad. These are high voltage lights and cost about $110.00 and can be bought at any parts store. Since we had such issues with the removal of the head light I decided to detail it here for someone who might need it.

Graduation

Nick graduated just wanted to get some pictures up. Two degrees physics and mathematics. Magna cum laude!

My Mom's A Pistol

Oh I love my momma! She's a real pistol of a woman. She doesn't get to come down to my house very often because she's a busy
lady and she has her irons in quite a few fires, but when she come we have a good time. A little dinner and some wine and maybe a movie. It's nice to spend time alone, usually it's a circus of people parading around us. Did I mention she's a red head. Yep my moms a pistol.
My moms a pistol and her moms a saint, That would be Nana. She sent a cake with Mom for Nicks graduation and it is oh so perfectly delicious. Nana was so worried it wouldn't taste right that she made mom cut a sliver out and try it. A story followed to explain the paranoia. Nana says when her mom (MeMaw) was getting older she made a cake and forgot a few ingredients and to top it off it was a Red earth cake and she was out of red food coloring and used green instead. Nana indicated in her very nice polite way that it was a nasty pile of green mess. I assured her by eating two pieces that hers was just spectacular .

Loads and loads of stuff to be thankful for

This is a crazy busy week.  Today is a great day to be thankful.  Amy's boyfriend Shelby had major surgery;this morning.  Shelby was in an awful accident with firecrackers that exploded and badly damaged his eye. He received a cornea transplant this morning and it went terrific.  We are all praying that little eye will love Shelby and decide to stay with us for a really long time.  If all goes well he should be able to start seeing out of it tomorrow.  On another note my mother and father are headed down to Beaumont to see my boyfriend Graduate on Saturday.  My smarty pants, handsome, Nicholas will graduate with a double degree in Mathematics and Physics on the presidents list from Lamar University. SO VERY PROUD of him!! Tons to be thankful for. I know these are just two things but they are kinda big ones to me and they consume like a whole bunch of people who i am all thankful for also, loads and loads of love! Ok enough joy for now.

Honey Bee Removal

Bee removal job at Pappadeauxs in Beaumont Tx, this morning. Very interesting. My first experience with the bees and it went pretty good. I learned a lot.
