Falling Softly
I see you in between the sunlight
and the moonlight.
In my dreams at night,
you are my just right.
Swinging softly,
push me lightly,
I fly so high,
I dream we both die,
Falling softly,
Pushed so lightly.
and the moonlight.
In my dreams at night,
you are my just right.
Swinging softly,
push me lightly,
I fly so high,
I dream we both die,
Falling softly,
Pushed so lightly.

Restless Lane
Sit down on your trembling hands while you wait for me. In our restless lane lays fire and corruption. I hold on to your hand, you hold on to consumption. I give way to the freedom you take on the destruction. Ill push and you pull and remember my eyes when I first met you.
The Best Revenge!
The best revenge is a life well lived.
It's strange that I once didn't understand this quote and now I do.
It's in my heart and its so very true.
Hawaiian Bread Dip
Hawaiian Dip is my all time favorite dip, my Aunt Rhonda Jo gave me the recipe years ago and I have been impressing peoples taste buds with it ever since. Every time someone tastes it they ask for the recipe, so here you go.
Ingredients:
1 thick slice of Ham - (or pre-cut cubes if your feeling lazy that day)
2 Cups Shredded Cheese
6 oz Cream Cheese
1 1\2 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cup diced Ham
1 1\2 Cup chopped green onions
1 - 3oz. can of chopped Green Chilies
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
Butter Mixture:
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 Tablespoon melted butter
Mix together and drizzle over bread crumbs and bake till brown for dipping.
You may make a mess at this point.... or maybe that's just me.
Mix mix mix, stir, stir, stir..... la la la....
But while we are waiting we can make out dipping pieces from the bread we set aside.

Warning: there is a bad word in this post, however it's a funny bad word
I was laying in bed just now reading and waking up and Nick ran out of the shower with a towel on, jumped on the bed and screamed "I'm part Monkey" he jumped off the bed and ran off into the mist, (not really just the other room) WHAT I THOUGHT he ran through the room and said: " I'm a twat monkey!" What an awful word but I laughed until I was crying. I'm keeping that one in the vault in case I ever get into a verbal fighting match, along with douche canoe. Sorry for the bad language this morning folks :)

Thank you and your welcome
Yes we still say please and thank you here in Texas and thank y'all and your welcome. A gentleman came to our job that was from out of town (he was coming from Michigan to visit family in Texas) and after I got done helping him he said "since I hit Louisiana I have been meeting the nicest people" I replied "You haven't ever been to the South before, have you?" He said No he hadn't but he'd be coming back. I gave him a big smile and directions to a great Cajun restaurant he just HAD to try on his way back through Louisiana. Thank y'all and your welcome.
Christmas card hanger
I usually use thus thingamabob I made from a coat hanger to hold recipe cards over while I'm cooking but I have Christmas cards I didn't want to just prop up on the mantle and these work perfect. You can make them in five seconds with wire cutters and scissors. I think one dipped in glue and then glitter would be cute for Christmas. Here is what it should look like.

Joy
I have joy. It's a rare and precious thing. I see so many people searching for it that I wish I could give them mine. It doesent work like that unfortunately but I have noticed it spreads in small increments to people around you. At a time in my life when I had about a thimbleful of the joy I have now I remember an unhappy person telling me they could feel my joy getting all over them. I wish I could have bathed him in it, i still do, but you can't give it away. It has to be found in the small folded up places inside you. I'm thankful like this life is my second chance. I'm thankful to the point of joy. I believe that's where mine comes from, I find when I'm most humbled and most thankful that it begins as a small bubble and ripples over me until I'm shaking like a bowl full of jello barely containing my smile.
